How to join two pieces of gutter together.
If you have a straight run gable roof measure from shingle to shingle and then add 1 2 inch to each side for a slight overlap.
For outside corners measure from corner to corner.
Add 4 more inches to the total length to allow for overlapping edges when joining the pieces together.
Connect the two sections of gutter overlapping the middle sections by 4 inches.
Connect the different pieces of the gutters and overlap the middle seams by 4 inches.
You can use tin snips or a hacksaw to cut the piece s.
Spread plastic cement on the edges of the gutter sections and the inside of the gutter joiner pieces.
The first piece of the gutter will likely be its full length.

Snap the joiners firmly into place.
If you have inside corners subtract 5 inches.
That may even work for the second and third pieces but the last piece of gutter will need to be trimmed.
Check the measurements so that the total length of the first and second gutter when put together will equal the length you need plus 4 inches.
Clean seam edges and interior of gutter joiner pieces with rubbing alcohol.
