When you have it lined up correctly squeegee the vinyl to your project.
Stick a piece of vinyl to your cutting mat making sure the paper backing side is down.
Using your scissors x acto knife or razor blade gently use a sweeping motion to pick away the htv starting at the top of the unwanted heat transfer vinyl.
The material might come off in chunks at a time.
You ll begin to notice that the vinyl starts to peel off very easily after being heated for a bit.
Just keep picking at the vinyl.
The vinyl transfer will essentially melt and stick to the wax paper and you can peel the letters away from the shirt by removing the wax paper.
This can either be the center or one end of your design.
Peel the transfer tape away from the vinyl at a 45 degree angle.
Apply as little as possible dripping onto the surface and using a q tip to spread around.
Stretch your fabric to start loosening the htv.
If the transfer is made of vinyl place wax paper over the letters and iron directly on the wax paper.
This only works with vinyl transfers.

Then load the mat into your cricut machine by pressing the flashing load unload button.
Apply the vinyl lift off to the back of the piece you want to remove.
Attach a small area of transfer tape to your design.

Then continue to peel the transfer tape away from the vinyl.
I suggest putting an old rag under your fabric to catch any excess.
