Throw a garlic bulb in the attic to keep pests out. This one sounds like a pesky ghost. Even if you don t catch a glimpse of the animal you can frequently figure out what it is just based on when it makes noise and what it sounds like. Signs mice are in your home.

Yes it is as you call it a ghost. Just get a flashlight and investigate.
