Iko roof fast cap when used with iko roof fast base ma is an ideal solution for new or renovated structures with a low slope roof.

Iko roof fast 95 base is a self adhesive product that can easily be cold applied on low slope roofs. The surface is covered with a thin poly film while the underside is sanded to prevent sticking in the roll. Roof fast 95 base is intended for use as the base ply in a 2 ply assembly using roof fast cap as the top ply. Iko roof fast cap is engineered to meet or exceed these critical building code specifications.

When applying cap over base the base should be clean and dust free however do not prime the base. A thin micro perforated poly film covers the top surface. For re roofing remove existing roofing material down to satisfactory deck or primed surface. The back surfacing is a silicone treated film which is easily removed.

Roof fast base is also an acceptable substrate for roof fast cap. It s constructed of a durable reinforcing mat of non woven glass fibers that have been coated and permeated to a thickness of approximately 2 0 mm. Our roof fast 95 base consists of durable reinforcing mat of non woven glass fibers that has been coated and permeated to a thickness of approximately 2 0 mm 79 mils. The back surfacing is a silicone treated release film which is easily removed.

The back surface of the sheet is self adhesive modified bitumen which is protected by a silicone treated film. Roof fast base 95 is not designed to be the finished exposed roof membrane. Our roof fast base ma is constructed using a reinforcing mat of durable high strength non woven glass fibers that is coated and impregnated. The back surfacing is a silicone treated film which is easily removed.
